Hot! Hot! Hot!

Both the weather and these pups! The temps outside hit 90+ which kept us inside for pics. These pups are hot too, but in looks! They are awesome puppies, classic shiloh looks, classic shiloh personality. The pics this week are a bit blurry due to the lighting. My camera just had a difficult time adjusting and the pups were so curious and busy, we couldn't keep them still. Hopefully, next week the weather will break and we will get some awesome outside pictures! The pups had another manicure today, another deworming treatment, and tons of love! They were weighed, and came in at 8lbs 7oz to 11 lbs. They go to the vets on Friday, can't wait!

Happy Memorial Day!

We are heading over on Sunday to visit the pups and take more pictures. It is almost 90 degrees here today, so we hope tomorrow morning will be cooler. It is so hard to believe that the babies are going to be going to the vets the end of next week for their checkup. They will have been dewormed three times by that point, and will received their first vaccines. Miss Willow is still the doting mom, and loves her babies. I think she will take it the hardest when it is time for them to leave. Miss Willow and her babies will be coming home to BelleGrace next weekend. It has been decided that Willow will live with us here, and pick male pup will remain with Don and Yvonne. We are hopeful that Willow adjusts quickly to our home and our other dogs. If she is anything like her grandma Foxy, she will slide right into her spot within our "pack". Watch for new pictures coming later this weekend!

Week Four

After not seeing these babies for a week, I can tell you I was shocked at how much they had grown! Such gorgeous pups with temperaments to match. Dom has a playful teasing side, Lovey has a "spicey" attitude, and Faith is just regal. Hope is a love, Percy is showing some pizzazz, and Mack is just Mack. All of the pups love to be cuddled, and did great on their first trip outside. They had the chance to run and play, meet new visitors, and play with new toys. They are eating kibble mixed with goats milk and meat and cleaning it up! All weighed in at between 6 1/2 to 8 1/4 lbs. They have had three manicures, trimming those razor sharp nails, and all have been dewormed twice. Mama has about weaned them completely, allowing only a quick sip once a day.

Week Three

Week three brings personalities! It is such fun to watch their individual personalities develop. Dom likes to lay by himself while Fighto, Chutzpah, and Mack all are very vocal and interact with one another. Lovey is very animated, much like her dam. All are very contented, being well fed by mom. I am really impressed with many of their heads so far: nice and broad, short muzzles and tiny ears. We are seeing thick plush coats and nice tails. I love seeing such thick, proper size tails. Some really potential here in this litter, I can hardly wait to see them grow up!

The Story Behind "The Box"

In every indiviual portrait picture of the pups, you will notice "the box". This is a beautiful hat box that Willow's owner found and feel in love with. If you look closely, you will notice that it has weeping willows all around it along with pictures of horses.
All of the pictures of these pups will be taken with this box found somewhere within the picture. Yvonne felt it was a great way to show that these are indeed "Willow's puppies".
It also is fun to watch the pups as they grow and as "the box" becomes smaller  : )

The Handsome Sire

This boy is, in my eyes, the perfect shiloh. He has a flawlessly stable temperament, good in any and every situation, good health stats, and is the most loving and intuitive boy I could have asked for. His pups carry his good looks and personality, along with his thick soft coat. This litter is going to be fabulous! If you are looking for an outstanding dog that will grab peoples attention where ever you go, gives us a call. These pups will fit you to a T. We have both males and females still available.

Week Two SlideShow

We are really thrilled with these babies, an absolutely beautiful litter! The combination of the lines is looking awesome! All pups are around 3+ lbs and are growing fast. They start solid food next week, so will really take off then. Willow is a perfect mom, spotlessly clean and attentive. She is a natural, just as I expected, as her dam and grand-dam were wonderful moms too. Everyone had a pedicure, having their nails trimmed twice so far. And everyone received their first worming. We had very contented pups to take pictures of as everyone had just finished eating : ) BelleGrace has worked very hard to get our lineage to this point. This is going to be one of our best litters yet!
